Internships and field schools
The UdeM Master's in Anthropology program includes 2 optional courses allowing students to gain more 1st-hand experience.
The ANT6802 - Travaux pratiques course combines theory and practice in anthropology, while the ANT6806 - Pratique de terrain course gives students the opportunity to work at a field school in a sub-discipline of anthropology.
This 6-credit option comprises no fewer than 13 courses in the form of internships, digs and practical field experience offered by the Department at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
In addition to practical courses, graduate students have valuable access to a great variety of laboratories and research groups in the Department of Anthropology to help them write their theses and dissertations.
