Présentation

Je suis diplômée d’un doctorat en sociologie de la National University of Singapore et d’un baccalauréat et d’une maîtrise en anthropologie de l’Université de Montréal. Mes intérêts de recherche incluent l’anthropologie de l’éducation, l’anthropologie médicale et l’anthropologie politique.  Je m’intéresse particulièrement aux questions identitaires chez les adolescents et jeunes adultes issus de minorités ethniques et religieuses et à la mise en oeuvre de politiques publiques en matière de santé et éducation en zones fragilisées.

Entre 2013 et 2017 j’ai été professeure titulaire à la Graduate School of Education de l’Université Nazarbayev au Kazakhstan.  Auparavant j’ai occupé différents postes académiques au Japon, en Thaïlande et à Singapour.  J’ai effectué plusieurs terrains de recherche en Asie du Sud-Est et en Asie centrale.  Au cours des dernières années j’ai eu le plaisir de travailler au sein d’équipes de recherche interdisciplinaires.  Je suis présentement chercheure associée à la chaire UNESCO Éducations et Santé et collabore à l’élaboration d’un cadre de référence mondial pour les écoles promotrices en santé.
